Alright, folks. Let’s talk.
I’ve been hammering away at The Conservative Compass for a while now, cranking out hard-hitting analysis, sharp political takes, and the occasional rant that makes you wonder if I’ve had too much coffee or not nearly enough. And some of you—bless your patriotic hearts—have stepped up to support this endeavor with paid subscriptions. You’re the backbone of this operation. The true believers. The ones who understand that the work I do isn’t just some hobby—it’s a full-time battle against the nonsense peddled by the mainstream media and the ruling elites.
But here’s the thing: I know there are more of you out there who read this Substack regularly. Lurking. Enjoying. Maybe even nodding in agreement or chuckling at my irreverent takes. And yet… still on the free tier.
Now, I get it. We live in an era where everything is a subscription. Want to watch a movie? Subscription. Read the news? Subscription. Access the exclusive behind-the-scenes documentary on how your toaster was made? You guessed it—subscription. It’s exhausting.
So, I’m not here to guilt-trip you. (Okay, maybe just a little.) Instead, I want to ask you straight up: What would convince you to become a paid subscriber to The Conservative Compass?
Is it more in-depth political analysis? More fiery takedowns of the regime? Behind-the-scenes content on how I research and write? A secret decoder ring that lets you interpret Democrat’s speeches in real-time? (Good luck with that.)
Maybe you’d like exclusive Q&A sessions. Maybe you’d want deeper dives into certain topics. Maybe you’re just waiting for me to say, “Hey, pay up, you freeloading gremlins” in the right way.
This is your chance to tell me. I want to make The Conservative Compass as valuable as possible, and if there’s something you want more of—or something you think is missing—drop a comment below.
And if you already know you get value from this, if you’ve ever read one of my pieces and thought, “Damn, that was good,” maybe today’s the day you take the plunge and upgrade to a paid subscription. Just think of it as casting a vote against the corporate media machine—one that actually counts.
Let’s hear it. What would make The Conservative Compass worth your hard-earned dollars?
Thanks for asking!
Substack.com is on its way down. Been going down a while..
Yes, author content is critical, CRITICAL! So many are just putting out what they think people want to hear in hopes of a subscriber base pay check.
I'm not renewing or signing up for new subscriptions until the content makers handcuff those running substack.com for 2 important items;
1. a paid subscriber's bill of rights. Meaning the treatment of paid subscribers is not totally at the whim of the author of which some are insecure, immature, thin skinned, and only concerned about building their brand.
2. Substack.com MUST incorporated a auto renew / non auto renew feature. I, THE ONE PAYING FOR THE CONTENT, will review and decide IF I CHOOSE TO RENEW based upon whatever my PAID support evaluates at the time of renewal. Sending a one time gift is fine to help and then see what the fruits produced are before a commitment.
Until these happen, at a minimum, my time on substack.com will continue to wane until I won't even login, period.
There are many authors I would like to keep supporting and many others I would gladly start supporting. However, substack is lacking greatly and I've seen the writing on the wall. A better platform must be up or up and coming.
I hope this helps you.
Love your work.
I wish I could financially support it.
Sorry. Hopefully things change soon.
