That’s right, actual refund checks funded by slashing waste, not printing monopoly money like Biden did.
According to a post on X by Jack @jackunheard, this isn't some campaign pipe dream—Trump and Musk are seriously discussing it. And given Musk’s obsession with efficiency and Trump’s love of winning, you can bet the old D.C. guard is losing its collective mind.
Democrats Screech, Bureaucrats Panic
Predictably, the left-wing outrage machine is already in overdrive. "This is just a gimmick to buy votes!" they cry. Oh, you mean like the trillions in 'relief' that Biden shoveled into pet projects and corporate handouts? Spare us. This plan actually saves money instead of vaporizing it.
The swamp creatures in Congress are scrambling because they know what’s at stake—if this goes through, Americans will start asking why government has been so bloated and inefficient all these years. And they can’t have that.

The other reason this scares permanent DC is that it takes away the power of the “debt limit.” If Congress won’t pass a real budget, it won’t cause a catastrophic collapse in the markets, but it would cause a delay in the refunds to taxpayers.
I, personally, would prefer a reduction in debt before we get any refunds, but either way, Congress’s power to blackmail the President is over when the deficit is gone.
Yes, it's about power. President Trump IS NOT executing a power grab. He is returning the power criminally subjugated by congress back to the Executive branch and to the President as Chief Executive, who was democratically chosen by the people to lead the nation. It's called the Unitary Executive theory and has precedent in past Supreme Court decisions.
Many people don't even know that DOGE is NOT a new organization. The howler monkeys of the Democratic Communist party and their media lackeys are screeching that it's illegal. Read President Trump's Executive Order and you'll see that DOGE is NOT a new org. President Trump renamed the United States Digital Service created by Obama in 2014. The new name is the United States Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Service. The acronym is still USDS - a classy middle finger to Obama and the Democrats.
It has a budget and staff and is NOT new. President Trump invoked section 3161 of title 5, United States Code, which allows him to create a temporary organization and hire staff. President Trump is well withing his rights according to the US constitution as the Chief Executive to repurpose that agency and hire new staff. US DOGE Service staff will be embedded inside every single federal agency that comes under the jurisdiction of the Executive Branch, and President Trump is the Chief Executive of the Executive Branch. Elon Musk and the staff of the US DOGE Service serve at the pleasure of the President.
Obama's USDS built the perfect Administrative (Deep State) IT backdoor into every one of those federal agencies that come under the jurisdiction of the Chief Executive. Musk and his IT engineers are not hacking but using those established IT interfaces to gain access to databases. Court cases are already ruling in favor of President Trump. The Democratic Communists have been totally outmaneuvered and now their own system is coming back to haunt them and reveal their criminality. Aye, tis a beautiful thing, eh?
